ERRIGO CALLS FOR COURAGE OVER STATUS QUO AS FIELDSBORO VOTES TUESDAY
FIELDSBORO, N.J. — Dr. John J. Errigo III, Council President and Democratic Nominee for Mayor, is calling on Fieldsboro residents to stand for courage, transparency, and change as Fieldsboro heads to the polls on Tuesday, November 4, from 6 AM to 8 PM at Borough Hall, 204 Washington Street.
“For far too long, Fieldsboro has been kept in the dark,” said Errigo. “My leadership has always stood on courage, the courage to face tough truths, push for transparency, question the status quo, and fight for what’s right for all residents. I’ve spent the past eight months doing exactly that, even when it wasn’t easy, because our residents deserve better than the same old status quo.”
Errigo has centered his campaign on accountability, inclusion, and operational reform. Drawing on his 20 years of experience in leadership and operations management, he pledged to bring efficiency, transparency, and fairness back to Borough Hall for all residents, not just a select few.
“I grew up poor and understand what it means to be left out, and I won’t let that happen to our residents,” Errigo said. “Our town deserves leadership that listens, includes, and delivers, not cliques or closed-door politics.”
Voters will decide tomorrow between continuing the old guard’s status quo or choosing a new, reform-driven path for Fieldsboro. Errigo has demonstrated results through a series of reforms that show his commitment to progress and transparency, including:
• Leading the Negotiation of the Friends of White Hill Mansion lease, finalized November 1, 2025.
• Developing Fieldsboro’s first official Borough website, launched December 2024.
• Implementing online bill pay for water, sewer, and taxes in March 2025.
• Leading the financial software conversion from QuickBooks to a state-compliant encumbrance system in January 2025, ensuring stronger fiscal safeguards.
“Reform has been my mission since day one,” Errigo said. “As Mayor, I’ll continue putting residents first and ensuring government reflects the will of the people, not top-down decisions made behind closed doors.”
“I’m asking residents to vote for courage over complacency,” Errigo added. “Together, we can build a transparent, inclusive government that finally works for everyone. I’d be honored to have your support, and I will never take it for granted.”
