Fieldsboro, NJ – September 15, 2025 – Councilmember Dr. John Errigo, Democratic candidate for Mayor of Fieldsboro, has officially received the 2025 General Election Endorsement from the New Jersey Democratic LGBTQ+ Caucus. This endorsement highlights Dr. Errigo’s longstanding commitment to equality, inclusion, and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. Errigo, who currently serves as Council President, has been recognized for his leadership in promoting transparency, accountability, and policies that put residents first. His academic background further underscores this commitment. Dr. Errigo earned his PhD with a dissertation focused on ethics, equality in the workplace, inclusive language, and team dynamics. He has consistently applied this expertise in his public service, working to ensure that all residents are valued and protected.

Since taking office in 2023, he has led initiatives to modernize Borough operations, increase transparency through the launch of the Borough website and online bill pay, and fight for stronger community resources such as expanded Borough Hall hours, recreational opportunities, and public safety improvements.
