As Council President and a proud Fieldsboro resident, I’ve always believed that local government should serve the people first. I’m running for Mayor to build a forward-focused town that is transparent, inclusive, safe, and economically vibrant. Every initiative I pursue will be centered on improving the lives of our residents, and fostering a sense of unity and progress while advocating for lower taxes.
1. Enhanced Public Safety
Public safety is a fundamental priority. I will work to maintain and strengthen partnerships with regional law enforcement to ensure Fieldsboro continues to receive professional, responsive police coverage. In addition, I’ll advocate for emergency preparedness programs, safety education for families, and opportunities to bring first responders and residents together through community engagement events.
2. Transparent and Accountable Government
Transparency is the key to trust. As Council President, I worked hard to launch www.Fieldsboro.us to make government information and services more accessible—allowing residents to pay taxes and water bills online for the first time. As Mayor, I will go even further, introducing monthly town updates, and continued online access to borough meeting agendas, and open forums where your voices help guide decision-making.
3. Economic Development and Local Business Support
A strong local economy benefits everyone. I am committed to supporting our small businesses, encouraging entrepreneurship, and creating a borough that welcomes innovation. My plan includes launching a “Fieldsboro Open for Business” initiative, pursuing county and state grants for local revitalization, and providing local entrepreneurs with access to development tools and promotional support.
4. Improved Infrastructure
Infrastructure improvements directly impact quality of life. I will prioritize repairs to our roads, upgrades to public facilities, and beautification of our parks and green spaces. By applying for infrastructure grants and using borough funds responsibly, we can modernize our town’s appearance while improving safety and accessibility for all.
5. Community Engagement and Civic Pride
I believe the strength of a community comes from its people. As Mayor, I will launch new programs to encourage civic participation, from volunteer opportunities to neighborhood celebrations. I’ll promote intergenerational activities, inclusive public events, and create new ways for residents to connect with their local government.
6. Expanding Access, Improving Service
As your future Mayor, I believe local government should be accessible, responsive, and efficient. Currently, our municipal office operates on limited hours—just 16 hours per week during the morning, and only 2 additional hours in the evening once a week on Thursdays. That’s not enough for working families, new homeowners, or residents with urgent questions or needs.
I will work to expand municipal office hours to a more community-friendly schedule, with a plan to increase availability to 30 hours per week. This would include municipal office hours (proposed) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and extended hours on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with additional part-time support (proposed from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM) Monday and Thursday (for twice a week vs. one day a week currently). These expanded hours are designed to help better serve residents who need help after traditional business hours.
Fieldsboro, NJ deserves a government that works when you need it—not just during a narrow window. I’m committed to making this expansion happen without raising taxes. With over 20 years of operational leadership at companies like Amazon, Target, and Burlington Stores, I’ve learned how to cut waste, streamline operations, and do more with less. By bringing these skills to municipal government, I will ensure we use every dollar wisely to expand services while advocating for lower taxes.
Sustainable growth begins with accessibility. Whether we’re preserving green space, promoting walkable neighborhoods, or planning for future generations, the first step is making sure our government is open and available to serve the people.
Let’s Build the Future Together
Fieldsboro is a close-knit community and I’m ready to lead with integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to our town’s future. With your support, we can move forward—together.
