John J. Errigo III Announces Candidacy for Mayor of Fieldsboro, NJ
Focused on Community, Transparency, and Putting All Residents First!
Fieldsboro, NJ — April 11, 2025 — Council President and community advocate Dr. John J. Errigo, III has officially announced his candidacy on April 5, 2025 for Mayor of Fieldsboro, NJ bringing a fresh and community-focused vision to the borough’s leadership.
“I’m running for Mayor because I believe Fieldsboro deserves bold, transparent, and compassionate leadership that puts our residents first,” said Errigo. “With a deep commitment to inclusive values and smart progress, I’m ready to build a borough that works for everyone.”
Errigo currently serves as President of the Fieldsboro Borough Council, where he has led efforts to modernize communication with residents, improve accessibility to services through the launch of fieldsboro.us, to strengthen civic engagement and local government transparency.
As Mayor, Errigo plans to focus on:
- Enhanced Public Safety through partnerships, preparedness, and community-based approaches.
- Transparent Government, including monthly updates, open forums, and digital tools to ensure accountability.
- Local Economic Development by supporting small businesses, promoting entrepreneurship, and pursuing state and county-level partnerships for funding opportunities.
- Infrastructure Improvements, including road repairs, public facility upgrades, and long-term green space planning.
- Community Engagement, with initiatives to unite residents, expand volunteerism, and ensure all voices are heard and valued.
- Expanding Access, Improving Services, including expanding local government operation times for local government to be accessible, responsive, and efficient for our residents. I will ensure we use every tax dollar wisely to expand services and a commitment to keeping taxes low.
